Young Parent Specialist, bilingual in Portuguese and/or Spanish and English
The Bilingual Young Parent Specialist will provide home-based services (outreach, case management, parent counseling, education, life skills development) to young parents, (age 16 – 23 yrs.) and their children in the Framingham and Waltham area. The Young Parent Specialist will participate as a member of a strong clinical team and work collaboratively with community programs. Both individual and group supervision are provided.
Health Justice Campaign Organizer
HCFA is expanding its grassroots network to build a diverse base of support for its advocacy work. HCFA will do this by working in partnership with other entities interested in supporting a pro-active, unified health justice campaign, with a particular focus on promoting and protecting Medicaid. Vida Verde Women’s Cooperative Coordinator
Vida Verde, a project of the Brazilian Women’s Group, is a successful housecleaning cooperative dedicated to using green products and methods. It was started in 2005 and funded by a grant from Tufts/NIOSH, under the umbrella of the Brazilian Women’s Group (BWG). We are seeking an energetic, committed, bilingual (Portuguese/English) candidate who is community-oriented and a proponent of green practices. This is a 25-hour/week position. Working hours may increase depending on funding availability. Hours involve some evenings and weekends and occasional traveling. Salary is based on experience. Reliable transportation is necessary (with mileage reimbursement).
