Immigrants’ Day at the State House
Monday, March 4th | 11 am to 2 pm
Join the Brazilian Women’s Group in advocating for driver’s license for all Massachusetts residents, for no collaboration between the police and immigration rights, for enforcement of labor laws, and other just bills. We need your support.

Legal Assistance and Information Session on Immigration
Wednesday, March 27 | 2 pm to 5 pm
For mothers who have been separated from their children, newly arrived families, for families of children who crossed the border alone, individuals arrested by ICE and those being monitored by immigration. With attorneys Nancy Kelly and John Willshire, from GBLS and the Harvard Immigration Project. Bring all documents related to the case. “Cazuza: Time Does not Stop” (2004) directed by Sandra Werneck, will appear on Friday, July 5, at 7:00 p.m., at DigaAí Space (151b Pearl Street, Boston). The film portrays the life of Cazuza, one of the greatest singers and young composers of Brazil. The story is based on a book written by the artist’s mother, Lucia Araújo. This show is a partnership of Espaço DigaAí, with Brazilian women’s Group, and the support of the Brazilian Consulate in Boston and curated by Allan Oliveira. Movies are FREE and open to public, spoken in Portuguese with English subtitles.
